I feel kind of out of the loop at the moment, so here's an attempt to catch up with current things:
Politics:
Who could have thought that the conflict about the Falkland Islands would have a revival 30 years after the war.
Hilariously, also sort of sadly, apparently some people really don't read before they sign... international treaties.
Mitt Romney won the caucuses in Nevada, probably ending all hope for Newt Gingrich to remain a serious contender, but he also lost in Minnesota (where he came in third), Colorado and Missouri to Rick Santorum.
An uplifting story about service dogs for children with disabilities.
An utterly horrifying story about Michele Bachmann's home district, where "evangelicals have created an extreme anti-gay climate", especially for kids.
Pop Culture:
afterellen has an interview with the creator of Bomb Girls, which just got renewed for a second season. The season finale airs tonight.
The A.V. Club interviews Sharon Van Etten - her current record, Tramp, is my first favourite of this year.
Little White Lies interviews director Sean Durkin about Martha Marcy May Marlene.
